Eurovision Union’s Weekly Playlist (30/52)

Each week, Eurovision Union is dedicated in bringing you a specially curated playlist full of songs we’ve been loving from all our favourite Eurovision and National Final artists. This week, we have a mixture of new and old favourites from artists across Europe, so you’re sure to find some new tracks to love!

Let’s start with some of the most exciting new releases from Eurovision stars, including Australian representative for 2017, Isaiah, who has just released his first single since Eurovision, titled Streets of Gold. From 2016 Belgian representative Laura Tesoro, we’ve got her latest single titled Higher, which has just been re-released as an acoustic version! Going back a year again to 2015, we’ve got Latvian performer Aminata, who has also just dropped a new single titled Prime Time.

Keeping with the theme of former Eurovision participants, we’ve got Tom Dice, who represented Belgium back in 2010. Today we’ve got one of his more recent singles, titled Hey There Sister. We’ve also got 2006 Croatian representative Severina, who has been releasing music quite consistently over the last few months! Her recent release is titled Kuda Za Vikend. From Estonian representative in 2011, Getter Jaani, we’ve got Teemant, which features Grete Paia and Uku Suviste. Also from 2011, we’ve got Finnish representative Paradise Oskar with the track titled Sunday Everyday. We’ve also featured Russian girl group from 2007, Serebro with their latest release.

Now to the national final songs from years gone by, including Seis, which was the song of Mick Pedaja in Eesti Laul in 2016, which finished in 4^th place in the national final. We’ve got a remix of Who Is In Charge, which was a song in the Latvian national final this year, performed by Linda Leen. Also from this year, we’ve got Michele Zarrillo, who was part of Italy’s selection and long standing Song Festival, Sanremo, where he competed with the song Mani Nelle Mani. From Melodifestivalen in 2015, we’ve got Ellen Benediktson with her competing entry, Insomnia. Last but not least in this category is Nika Zorjan who was part of the Slovenian selection with the song Fse.

Moving on to the other releases from national final acts, starting with The Matter, who at the time of participation in Hungary’s selection A Dal, were called Mushu. Under the new name, they’ve released the song titled Get Out, which was a part of their 6 song EP titled Tempo Tantrum. Back to Melodifestivalen, we’ve got 2017 finalist Nano with one of his previous releases titled Pushin. 2017 Icelandic finalist Aron Hannes has also just released a new track, titled Sumarnótt, which we’re loving! We’ve got Italian fan favourite, Annalisa with the title song off her album Splende. We’ve also featured the newest release from Max Barskih, who was part of the Ukrainian selection back in 2012 but has since carved out a successful career for himself.

The last (but not least) two songs we’ve got this week are Un Blodymary, the song which represented Spain back in 2006. It’s a guilty of pleasure of ours, so it was time to feature it on the playlist this week! There’s no better blast from the past like Las Ketchup! We’ve also got the song Fast Life (Ladidadi) which was part of the Junior Eurovision cd last year, sung by 2015 winner Destiny Chukunyere.
